Cherry Lynne Chudy

Cherry Lynne Chudy, 75, of Reedsport, passed on 9/29/23. Cherry was born in Eugene, Oregon on August 6, 1948, to Glen and Evelyn Briggs. She was raised in Reedsport, attending elementary and high school. Cherry married Paul Chudy on November 11, 1972. Cherry is preceded in death by her son Scot, also her brothers Tom and Terry. She is survived by her husband Paul and stepchildren Mark, of Reedsport, Terri and Stacey of Alaska, also numerous other family members living mostly in Eugene, Springfield, Bend and Redmond.

Cherry spent years as a restaurant cook in Reedsport. She enjoyed her flower bed, reading books, and loved animals. In recent years she and Paul enjoyed camping and made numerous trips to the Rogue River. They also enjoyed shell and agate hunting on local beaches. She was a very kind person and loved by all who knew her.

Services will be held at the Cambell Community Center, 155 High St, Eugene, Oregon 97401 on Saturday, November 25th at 2:00 p.m.
