David Scott Smith

Roseburg-David Scott Smith, 46, passed away due to cancer on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center.

David was born on August 18, 1973 in North Bend to James and Toni (Leach) Smith. David was raised in Reedsport, North Bend and Myrtle Creek, where he attended different elementary schools; he also attended South Umpqua High School. He lived in Bandon, Myrtle Creek and Roseburg. He spent his working career in landscaping and construction. David enjoyed fishing and playing cribbage with his grandfather and playing the drums at church when he was young.

David is survived by his parents; James and Toni Smith, his brother Jason Smith, and his loving dog Leo.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsburg Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Scottsburg Grange Hall following the graveside.
