John Lavern Prozialeck
6/17/1937 – 1/29/2018
John Prozialeck of Reedsport, OR lost his fight with cancer on 1/29/2018. He was born June 17, 1937 in Dunsmuir, CA to John and Eleanor Jones Prozialeck.
John worked as a millwright for International Paper in Reedsport, OR. He also proudly served his country as an Airman 2nd Class in the US Air Force and Retired as a Master Sergeant in the US Army Reserves, which John always said “This was the best part time job I have ever had”.
John was best known for his love of RC modeling, wine making, bottled as Big John Wine, steam engines, and his love of turning trash into treasures.
He is survived by his wife Marsha Miller Prozialeck. They were married August 20, 1960 in Eureka, CA.
He is survived by four daughters, Kathy Dailey, Carolyn Harris, Deanna Pollnow, and Kristi Prozialeck, one son Adam Prozialeck, and three sons-in-law Paul Dailey, Paul Harris, and Dan Pollnow, 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karin Lynette Prozialeck, his father John Prozialeck, mother Eleanor Jones, step-mother Harriett Prozialeck, two brothers Kenny Prozialeck and Jimmy Arana, two sisters Vianne Prozialeck Kenny, and Susan Prozialeck.
There will be a Celebration of Life in April, we will announce the date and time at a later date.
