A funeral service will be held for Randy Ray Pugh, 81, of Lakeside, at 1 p.m. Monday, April 18 at Dunes Memorial Chapel, 2300 Frontage Road in Reedsport with graveside services to follow at the Reedsport Masonic Cemetery. A viewing and visitation will be held prior to service starting at 9 a.m.

Randy Ray Pugh was born Nov. 14, 1934 in Crossville, Tenn., to James Castro and Dalphie Ledbetter Pugh. He died April 12, 2016, at Aidan Senior Living in Reedsport.

He was raised and educated in Crossville. Randy worked in the plywood production industry for many years, most recently at Gregory Forest Products. They lived in Grants Pass until they moved to the Lakeside community in 1992.

He was united in marriage to Wilameane “Billie” Irene Maze June 17, 1972 in Reno, Nev. They raised six sons and celebrated 43 years of life together.

Among his personal interests, Randy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a past member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Coos Bay.

Randy is survived by his wife, Wilameane “Billie” Pugh of Lakeside; sons, Rodney Pugh of Portland, and Jeffrey Pugh of Gresham; stepson, Robert and Lee Marie Lininger of Grants Pass; brothers, Cordell, Earl, Otis, Oscar, Linley Jr., J.D., Andrew and Elbert; sisters, Mattie, Susan, and Mamie Lou, all of Crossville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Tamara, Kristal, Josh, Matthew, Ashley, Zach and Tyler and five great-grandsons, Marcos, Joseph, Casey, Brandon and Preston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jack; sister, Earlene; and three stepsons, Randy, Ralph and Dennis Lininger.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
