Eleanor Lawson was born March 1, 1926 in Glendale, Ca to Fred and Annie (Norman) Walton. She was raised and educated in Portland, Or, where she attended The Girls Poly School having graduated in 1951.

She was united in marriage to Donald Lawson on October 14, 1985 in Vancouver, Wa. They  celebrated twenty-eight years of life together.  They enjoyed traveling the Northwest, having made their home in Battleground and Shelton, Wa; San Manuel, Az;  Elko, Nv; Prineville and most recently Reedsport, Or,

Eleanor worked as a secretary and bookkeeper over the years.  She was a busy wife, mother and homemaker. So cherished and loved by all who met her. Her wisdom, love and patience would never fail you. A guaranteed warmth and a smile was why all ran to you over and over again. Our spirits will always be filled with a joy that no words can explain. God bless you Dorothy Eleanor Lawson. We will always miss you while we carry you in our hearts.

Among her personal interests she enjoyed quilting, collecting owls, and attending ladies Bible Study. She loved to work outside in the garden tending to her flowers.  She went fishing with Don and was known to enjoy reading a good book.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters; Margaret McDaniel and Lorraine Fennwick.

Survivors include her husband, Don of Reedsport, her brother, Don Walton, Beaverton, several children, grandchildren, great grandchildren,  great-great grandchildren as well as many friends and neighbors.
