With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Hank Dakota Wilson on December 16, 2023, at the age of 32.

Born March 13, 1991, to Brenda Pedersen (Weekley-Wilson) and Billy Wilson, Hank grew up in Prineville alongside his younger brother Houston, as well as close-cousins Micheal and Cole. Together they enjoyed epic outdoor adventures, later turning into teenage exploraßtion.

As a young adult and man, Hank followed life anywhere it led. He saw things few others could scarcely imagine, visited places most dared not tread, and allowed the world to show him what was possible with an open mind. While his years were too few, those who knew Hank know that he outlived them in experiences alone.

Hank was a fierce friend, loving father, beloved son, cherished brother, and a staunch advocate for those with less. He was also an accomplished musician, quickly learning any instrument. But his real passion lay in the guitar. His songs still waft along the memory of those who knew and loved him. He will be missed.

Hank was a sentimental soul. He cherished his large family, including his son Billy Joe Wilson, Dad and Mom, step-father Douglas Pedersen, grandparents Nancy and Mike Grover, grandmother Judy Hurner, and so many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

A private celebration of life will be held on June 15, 2024.
