Joanne Violet Heisler of Prineville, Oregon, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on July 12, 2025, in Reedsport, Oregon.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 72 years, Clayton E. Heisler, and their children: Dana Rosanna Metzler, Debra Jo Clark, and Clayton E. Heisler II. Joanne’s legacy also lives on through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Belle Foulk and Burton Adams.

A native of Eugene, Oregon, Joanne graduated from high school and went on to attend Eugene Beauty College, where she laid the foundation for a lifelong career as a hairdresser. She was a talented and accomplished oil painter, artist, and seamstress who found joy in creativity and expression.

Joanne had a deep love for horses and found peace in fishing. She was happiest when surrounded by family—especially during the holidays, when she would lovingly prepare meals for all to enjoy. Her passion for cooking was matched only by the warmth and care she poured into every gathering.

A devoted member of the Church of Christ throughout her life, Joanne’s faith guided her in all that she did. She was one of the most loving and selfless people—always giving, never asking. Her kindness, humility, and generosity touched everyone she met. People were naturally drawn to her, sensing the light of Christ that shone brightly through her.

She will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
