"Kathleen A. (Kathy) Schultz, of Reedsport, passed away suddenly on September 21st.  Daughter of John McAdam and Louise (nee Schippers), deceased.  Loving wife of James R. (Jim) Schultz, also deceased.  Kathy was a long-time resident of Reedsport, volunteering for many activities since moving to the town in 1973, in addition to her work as a legal secretary and medical receptionist.  Kathy is survived by her daughter, Michelle O'Connell, son-in-law Ted, and her grandson, Paul James.  Kathy is also survived by sisters Mary Lou Wilson and Maureen Kubasak, as well as brothers John, Bob, and Bill McAdam, their children and grandchildren.  Services are planned for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, Kathy would have encouraged donations to a charity of your choosing, the Lower Umpqua Hospital Foundation at http://www.lowerumpquahospital.org/foundation/ or to The Nature Conservancy, https://support.nature.org/site/Donation2?10420.donation=form1&df_id=10420.
