Obituary

Kenneth Leland Nash, 70, of Reedsport, Oregon, was born on June 19, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Lester and Marie Nash. His life was centered on his family, his faith, and the joy he found in building a home and a life with those he loved.

Kenneth met the love of his life, MaryAnn Stevens, in Paradise, California, when they were just 18 years old. Their marriage spanned 52 years, and together they raised four children: Aubrey, Gregory, Alycia, and Kyle.

Paradise remained their home until the devastating fires of 2018 changed their lives. Determined to begin again, Kenneth and MaryAnn settled in Reedsport, where they devoted themselves to restoring and remodeling their 100-year-old home. A skilled carpenter, Kenneth built two homes for his family over the years, putting his craftsmanship and love into the places they called home.

Kenneth loved music and enjoyed 4x4 off-roading, fishing, and spending time at the ocean with MaryAnn. His warm, likable personality endeared him to those who knew him, and he will be remembered with love by his family and friends.

As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kenneth held his faith close throughout his life. He looked forward with confidence to the resurrection and cherished the hope of being reunited with his loved ones to enjoy everlasting life together on a paradise earth.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Marie Nash, and his sister, Lillian.

He is survived by his beloved wife, MaryAnn Nash; his children, Aubrey Nash, Gregory Nash, Alycia Nash, and Kyle Nash; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Jeff; his sisters, Rose and Jane; and numerous other family members and friends.

Kenneth leaves a lasting legacy of love, hard work, and faith in the hearts of those who knew him.
