Lenore Emma Olson passed away on September 17, 2026, one day after celebrating her 99th birthday.

Lenore was born on September 16, 1927, in Myrtle Point, Oregon, to Edgar and K. Crystal Wilson. Her family had a long and meaningful history in the Reedsport community.

Known for her strong and independent personality, Lenore was never afraid to speak her mind. She knew exactly how she liked things and how she expected them to be done.

Lenore worked as a teacher for many years. She also had a lifelong love of ballroom dancing and shared that passion with others as a dance instructor. Remarkably, she was still giving dance lessons just days before her passing.

Lenore will be deeply missed by her many family members, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
