Memorial services will be held at a later date for Margie Greenwood, 65, of Reedsport.

Margie was born Oct. 23, 1947 in Michigan, to Ray and Doris (Hutchison) Lux. She was raised in Michigan and Oregon. She passed away Feb. 24, 2013, at home in Reedsport.

Margie was married to Ron Greenwood July 1964. They celebrated 48 years together before her passing.

She had worked in a plywood mill, at the Oasis Restaurant, Little Mint and in the lab at Lower Umpqua Hospital.

Margie enjoyed sewing, quilting, swimming and family get-togethers. She was a member of the Quilters Club and swimming pool board.

Margie is survived by her husband, Ron of Reedsport; daughter, Becky Ruby of Carson, Wash.; and granddaughters, Elena Ruby of Carson, Wash., and Hannah Palmer of New Orleans, La.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Donna Ray; and son, Darrell.
