Patricia Ann Sloan 1956 – 2026

Patricia Ann Sloan passed away August 18, 2026, at the age of 70.

She was born January 31, 1956, in Sacramento, California, to Albert and Louise Falesnik.

Pat graduated from Delta High School in Clarksburg, California, and married the love of her life, Ron Sloan.

As a wife, she shared a deep and enduring partnership with her husband, Ron, for over 52 years. Their bond was the cornerstone of their family—built on devotion, shared laughter, hard times too—and a true team spirit that extended to every aspect of their lives, including running several business ventures together. They have one daughter, Sarah Ann.

As a mother, she was the foundation of our home, teaching values of hard work and kindness, and sharing endless wisdom when needed. She taught by example and love. My mother was my best friend and true north. Now she is my guardian angel.

Her role as a grandmother brought her immense pride. She was present for both births of her granddaughters, and she cherished watching them grow into beautiful young women.

Those who knew Pat will remember her love for the simple yet meaningful pleasures in life. She found great joy in searching for unique treasures while antiquing and sharing a cup of coffee and thoughtful conversations with family and friends. A compassionate soul, her home was always welcoming, filled with love and a sanctuary for the kitties she cared for so lovingly throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Sloan of Reedsport, Oregon; daughter Sarah Difuntorum and husband Drew Difuntorum of Reedsport, Oregon; granddaughter Zoë Dukovich and husband Jacob Dukovich of Reedsport, Oregon; granddaughter Emma Sandberg of Reedsport, Oregon; sister Mary Borges and husband Richard Borges of Sacramento, California; nephew James Johnson of Sacramento, California; and great-nephew Julian Johnson of Sacramento, California.

A private burial was held for family August 21, 2026, at the Reedsport Masonic Cemetery.
