Paula Renee Rackley, 53, passed away on September 22, 2026. She was born on May 9, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, to George Wayne Floyd and Johnnie Paulette Shoemate.

Paula grew up in Texas and met her husband, James Rackley, in Longview. They shared more than 30 years of marriage and later moved to Oregon, where James had grown up.

Paula had a personality that people loved. She had a special way of making others feel better, bringing a smile to their faces and lightening the mood. She carried that same caring spirit into her work as a home healthcare caregiver.

Paula was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband; her mother; her four brothers; and numerous other family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
