Rich was born March 1, 1952, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he graduated from Western High School in 1970. He worked in various hotels before retiring from the Teamsters Union in 2012. For the past 13 years, he resided in Winchester Bay, Oregon, where he enjoyed his retirement fishing, crabbing, golfing, and living by the water's edge.

He will be remembered for his contagious laugh and his happy, friendly personality. He never met a stranger, and his warm smile and genuine interest in others made everyone feel like instant friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Sophie Romans, his daughter Courtney Marie Romans, and his stepdaughter Mishia Funston.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kimmer Romans; his siblings, including myself (Sandy Grant), his sister and brother-in-law Tina and Mike Constant, and his brothers Robert Romans and Linc (Crystal) Romans, who still reside in Las Vegas; and his grandson, Ben Karnofsky.

He will be missed by many but never forgotten, and he will remain always in our hearts.
