Rose Marie Rapida (Hayes) 69, of Lakeside, Oregon passed away December 22, 2023 at Lower Umpaua Hospital in Reedsport, Oregon.
Rose was born in Zanesville, Ohio to Hazel and Everett Thomas Hayes . She attended John Glenn H.S  and was a longtime resident of New Concord, Ohio and Lakeside, Oregon.
Rose is survived by her children Keith (Diana), Jamie (Vaughn), Benjamin (Krystal), Jonathan (Tara), Christopher, Aaron and Amanda. Ten grandchildren Jacob ((Nichelle), Vincent, Ella, Eva, Joslyn, Brendan, Caitlin,  Alayna, Kaitlyn and Janelle and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by the father of her children Jeff Gibson and Dave Barbour. Rose is also survived by sister Doris (Dick), and brothers Charlie (Linda) and Larry.
Rose is proceeded in death by her parents and brothers Tom and Stan.
Rose was passionate about gardening,  nature, reading, her dogs and multiple other pets. She once quoted Confucius  "We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one." She was never afraid to find her own way. Rose will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
Rose will be cremated in Reedsport. Arrangements are being made by Dunes Memorial Chapel in Reedsport, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rose's name to the chapel.
