Timothy Kem Calcote

Timothy Kem Calcote, a member of the Reedsport, Oregon community, passed away on February 27th, at the age of 68. He was born on January 21, 1955 in Lubbock, Texas, to his parents Robert and Sandra Calcote.  The Calcote Family moved to Reedsport in 1971 as Robert Calcote brought his family here to be a minister of the Church of Christ.

Timothy and his siblings attended school in Reedsport.  Timothy was known for his unwavering kindness, gentle demeanor. After moving back to Graham, Texas where he spent next 40 plus years his mother and father passed away and he decided to return to the city where he went to High School and he still had friends and family in the area to reunite with.  You might have seen him walking from place to place as that is something he enjoyed as driving might not have been considered his special talent.  It seems he quickly regained the friends he had when he was last in Reedsport.  Some feel he touched the hearts of many and inspired those who knew him.

Timothy cherished spending time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy. His compassion, wisdom, and unconditional love will forever be remembered by his family and friends.

Timothy leaves behind his beloved children Jeremy and Tiffany and a host of friends who will deeply miss his presence.  Local to Reedsport would be his sister Teresa Downer and nephew Paul. 

A celebration of Timothy's life will be held at Dunes Memorial on March 23rd at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to any deserving charity in the Reedsport area in Timothy's memory.

Timothy Kem Calcote's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
